The Adventure Begins

Its been a few days since the museum incident. My dad was released from the hospital. He was very lucky to be alive. My mom…wasn’t as patient as the doctors. Despite that, she was happy to hold him in her claws, her rather…sharp claws. With Draco sent to the infamous Prison Island we wouldn’t need to worry about him. How naive I was. Draconia sends they’re most harden criminals there. Draco was on a prison ship. He sat there thinking. How could Pyris’s son shatter the Tablet of Osiris? That whelping…now he has unlimited power coursing through his veins. Hehehe…but… “We’re almost to Prison Island Draco.” said one of the guards. All Draco did was chuckled. “What’s so funny?” said another guard. “Do you really think a prison that ordinary will hold me? Hahahaha!” “Quit laughing!” ordered the guard. Suddenly the pilot speaks over an intercom. “We got trouble. Unknown bogeys are attacking the transport.” There was a loud boom. A Weavile appears. “Why don’t you dragons chill out?” He freezes they’re feet with Ice Beam. Then a Honchkrow appears on top of the hole in the transport. “Sorry we’re late sir.” “Nevermind that. Out of the way.” Draco busts through the hold and flies away. The Weavile rides the Honchkrow and they follow along the rest of a bunch of Murkrow. “Sir, we would have arrived to help, but-” “Enough. I have bigger plans now. I may not have gotten the power that was inside the Tablet of Osiris, but…hehehe…” The Honchkrow and Weavile looked puzzled.

I had arrived to school and ready to learn more on the basics of battles when one of the tribunal’s guards came in. “Pyro the Charmeleon, you have been summoned to appear before the Draconian Counsel. You have been charged with destroying museum property.” We were shocked. Well, not because I destroyed it by accident, but me being charged for it. Half an hour later I was brought before the counsel. I felt uneasy…especially at the fact that the place was packed. My mom was there and my class came. As the counsel told me of the charges, I was stupefied at it. “Your mighty law of the land, as you know it wasn’t my fault. Draco blocked my attack with it. How was I suppose to know the tablet would break?” I said. “Enough. The counsel will speak of this matter in our chambers.” Shadow, Saphiro, and Rubias went to the back. They came back minutes later. Rubias spoke. “The Draconian Counsel has decided. Pyro, you are hearby banished from Draconia. The law has spoken” Everyone was shocked, even me.

What a lousy week it was for me. My dad nearly dies, and now I’ve been banished from home. The counsel said I had 72 hours to leave. I stood at a cliff looking out to the ocean. I watch as the sun began to set. I cracked my claws and went home. That night all was quiet. “I can’t believe the counsel would do this to our son. Is there anything you can do Pyris?” “I’m sorry Chara, but unless I was there to cast my vote, there’s nothing I can do.” My mom was hurt. I was her only son,, and she didn’t want me to be banish from home. “It’ll be ok mom. I see this as an opportunity” “An opportunity for what Pyro?” “Like dad, I’ll see this as an adventure of a life time.” “Your talking nonsense. I won’t let my baby boy do this!” “Mom, I’m not a baby anymore. You have to realize that.” “He’s right Chara. He’s not a baby anymore. He’s grown up, and the power he’s shown when he defended me, he can now fend for himself.” Dad was confident in me, but mom was really worried. “Pyro…will always be my baby…”she said, trying to hold back the tears. She knew dad was right. “Tomorrow, we’ll build you a raft son.” I nodded.

The next day my dad and I began to build the raft. Though he wasn’t 100%, he did his best to help. It took us 2 days to finish it, and my time on Draconia was now up. As we took the raft down to the beach my friends showed up. “Venus, Drake, and Titanis? What are you guys doing here?” “We came to send you off silly.” said Venus. “We hate to miss out on your leaving.” said Drake. “I still think this is stupid. Why did the counsel banish you?” demanded Titanis. “I know. You’ll miss me too Ti.” “Curses…I told myself I wouldn’t cry…”sobbed Titanis. My mom showed up. “Mom?” “I packed some of your favorite goodies, as well as medicine and other necessities you’ll need.” She hands me the backpack. “Thanks mom.” I said. “And here you go son, your very own blue scarf.” “Thanks dad.” I put it on around my neck. “Now you look like one of those rescue and explorer teams.” joked Venus. “Well…I guess this is it.” “Pyro…wait.” I stopped and my mom hugged me. “Uh..mom…you can let go now.” I said. “Oh…right.” She let go of me and I got on the raft. Dad…as well as everyone, pushed the raft, and I was off. I’ll miss you all!” I yelled a everyone was yelling goodbye, good luck, and other forms of goodbyes. I couldn’t hold back the tears as I waved goodbye to them.

Back at my home Venus spotted a Pelipper. “I have a special delivery here for Pyro the Charmeleon.” “He’s not here, but I’ll take it for him.” Venus takes the letter and the Pelipper flew away. She opens it. “Venus, you shouldn’t read Pyro’s letters. Quit being nosy.” said Drake. “No harm in peaking.” she said as she read it. “This letter’s from Ivy. And…she’s coming tomorrow.” Venus, Drake and Titanis looked at each other. Meanwhile, someplace far away, nestled Draco in a sinister tower. “Home sweet home. Now…I will plot my revenge on Draconia. But first…I must find that whelpling, before he realizes the power he now possesses. Send forth the Shadow Hallow Clan.” “Yes sir.” said the Sableye. I must find Pyro, before he becomes a major threat to me and unleashes Osiris’s power, he thought. As I sailed, only one thought raced acrossed my mind: my adventure begins…now!
